Purpose: Risk is the possibility of not achieving a targeted result within a certain time period. In order to minimize this possibility, the risks that may be encountered should be analyzed correctly and the negative impact of possible risks should be minimized with preliminary measures to be taken. Risk management, which is an integral part of management with objectives, was announced to the whole world in 2009 with the ISO 31000 standard. Identifying risks, rating them according to their importance, making critical risks a part of institutions' decision-making mechanisms, monitoring and taking action constitute the requirements of the standard. Implementation of corporate risk management in companies has been made mandatory by law. In the training, the subject will be examined in detail according to the requirements of the ISO 31000 standard, with a content enriched with applications that explains how institutions can identify and model their risks, offers practical solutions.
